directed by Cristiana Pecci and Matteo Maggi

WATCH TRAILER

Is travelling a form of vagrancy? Or is it more of an inner journey completing you at the end of the road? This is one of the questions pondered on this documentary about the Wanderlust: the irresistible desire to wander the world.
The directors decide to follow Panu, a Finnish traveler, in a road trip from Finland to Australia to witness a full sun eclipse. Unexpectedly, something goes wrong.
“The Fifth Sun” is a glimpse into a lifestyle where your whole life fits into a backpack, shaping your ideas about freedom.

INTO MY LIFE

directed by Sarah Keeling, G. Remington, I. Hucikova

WATCH TRAILER

Growing up in 60’s and 70’s Brooklyn, Cassandra Bromfield’s world was artfully framed by her mother’s Super-8 camera. A schoolteacher with many creative talents, Cassandra’s mom documented the exuberance of her neighborhood’s public spaces: the lively pool, the packed playground, and the graffitied handball court. Children and teenagers gleefully performed in front of her Bolex. Cassandra still lives in the same place, working as a creative fashion designer during the day, and as a filmmaker at night.

In Cosmos Obscura, the universe is at once known and unknowable. New patterns, rhythms and metaphors are born from old ones. Familiar celestial bodies are refracted into strange and unusual forms. The visuals were created from photographs taken from the Voyager II spacecraft. Photographs of the planets and their moons were abstracted and animated in order to create various patterns, rhythms and images.
